At Hello Green, we take our customers’ privacy and security seriously. Non-identifiable Usage Data is collected for analysis and to help us improve the website and services and products we offer to you. This data will not be used in any other way.


(2) How we get your consent, and enable you to withdraw consent?

When you provide Personal Data (including by not limited to; when you browse our website, sign up to receive our our email newsletter, make a purchase from us online or in store, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase) we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your Personal Data for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. Our store is hosted on a secure e-commerce platform called Shopify, that uses TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificate, sometimes referred to as an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate to ensure that your information remains private and secure. (5) Transaction and payment security

We may use the third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

(6) When we disclose your information

We may share your personal information with third party service providers that provide services and support functions for us. In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, process and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.  Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. Please note, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

(8) Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that we assist in deleting the Personal Data that we have collected about you. Our Service may give you the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Service. To update, amend, or delete your information at any time simply email your request to support@hellogreen.com.au.

Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

(9) Disclosure of Your Personal Data

  • Law enforcement -Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
  • Other legal requirements - The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: Comply with a legal obligation; Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service; Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public; Protect against legal liability
  • Business Transactions -If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies like web beacons to track the activity on our website. This helps us improve the Hello Green website and products we offer you. The technologies may include:

    • Site Analytics – Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. They do not contain any personally identifiable information.

      You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

    • Email Marketing and Mailing Preferences -If you subscribe, we keep you up-to-date with special offers and products we think you'll like through emails. You can change your mind at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us, or by contacting us as support@hellogreen.com.au. 

      We use SmartrMail Email Marketing Service Providers to manage and send emails to you. By subscribing to our email alerts you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to SmartrMail for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.  You can view their privacy policy at https://www.smartrmail.com/privacy/

      We may pass your name, address, email address and telephone number to a delivery service however, this will be solely for the purpose of processing a shipment and facilitating delivery of an order, or updating you on the status of an outstanding order and these details will not be used for any marketing purposes whatsoever.
    • Payments we may use the third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.     • Online Advertising - we use the Google AdWords and Bing Ads to advertise on 3rd party websites, and may use the remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and non-cookie technologies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. 

      Some of these third-party vendors may use non-cookie technologies that may not be impacted by browser settings that block cookies. Your browser may not permit you to block such technologies.       Children's Privacy

      Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers. If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.

      We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
